Sales Account Executive

Type: Independent Consultant/Full-Time

Taza Interactive is a digital marketing technology company and is looking for a qualified sales account executive who has a proven track record in digital media sales and a strong understanding of social media marketing.

Taza brings fresh interactive technology solutions to brands seeking to engage with customers in new and innovative ways that deliver measurable results. We partner with agencies to provide interactive solutions for integrated marketing programs executed across online, mobile, and social media channels that blend digital and physical experiences for the world's top brands.

You will call on digital agencies and clients to build new business. A strong online sales background and experience working with marketers, ad agencies, PR firms and promotional firms is preferred.

Key Objectives/Outcomes:

  • Identify and close deals with digital brands and advertising agencies to achieve Taza's quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Manage accounts effectively to drive recurring revenue and sales forecasts.
  • Engage in ongoing prospecting and up-selling to ensure new clients are added to the pipeline.
  • Understand trends and research with the social media, mobile and advertising industry.
  • Negotiate deals and contracts and track internal implementation of projects.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations, reports and quotations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and production to provide market feedback and develop strategies for lead generation and new products.

Skills Required:

  • 4+ years of integrated media sales and or ad agency experience selling innovative ways to market brands online
  • Excellent interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills with excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.
  • Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions.
  • Experience working with media buyers to develop engaging campaigns that deliver high performance.
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Twitter etc.)
  • Hold intense interest in Social Media and the interactive space with an understanding of creative.
  • Intelligence, positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, sense of humor.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability/willingness to travel.
  • BA/BS degree
