Facebook Application Developer

Type: Freelance/Contract/Permanent

Taza Interactive is a digital marketing technology company and is looking for an experienced web developer to author interactive applications on Facebook. You will be responsible for software development and project management. Ideal candidates are top notch developers who understand social networking and can speak well in front of clients.

We partner with agencies to provide interactive solutions for integrated marketing programs executed across online, mobile, and social media channels that blend digital and physical experiences for the world's top brands.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and code applications end-to-end including database models, app logic and presentation layer.
  
• Work with a solid team of experienced developers and designers.
  
• Be a part of cutting edge projects that are fun, unique, challenging and constantly evolving.

Skills Required:

• Experience building and launching web applications.
  
• Experience with UI technologies - DHTML, CSS, Javascript etc.
  
• Fluent in one or more scripting languages (Java, PHP, Perl, .NET)
  
• Strong understanding of social networks and exposure to their technology platforms.
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to contribute creative ideas.
  
• SQL and rational database familiarity.
  
• CS degree

Desirable Skills:

• Flash AS/Flex development.
  
• Ruby on Rails
  
• High Volume Web/Facebook apps.
  
• Mobile app/web development.
